Can I cover my existing tiles with microcement?

Yes! Microcement is generally used to cover tiles, wood, plaster, marble, concrete and cement tops.

One of its main attributes is the   covering of existing tiles. You can easily refurbish a bathroom or a kitchen in a short period of time without removing existing surfaces.
 

Yes, lots of furniture can be covered with Microcement. Actually we offer this service a lot! We are expert in refurbishing  tables, chairs and shelves, with microcement.

We highly recommend maintenance of all surfaces coated with Microcement, especially floors. If you have applied microcement to floors in your home, we recommend you mop the floor.

It is recommended not to drag heavy or sharp objects, and you should refrain from using abrasive products.

Our current range of MicroCement Plasters can be applied to virtually any surface given the correct background. All backgrounds should be prepared correctly, Solid, showing no signs of cracking or grease marks. An ideal background would be a fully cured screed, cast concrete, Anti-crack render or plaster board and skimmed area.

Depending on the background surface and Micro-Cement the finished product is generally within 2-4mm in thickness.

Yes! Microcement is waterproof. It is highly resilient and 100% waterproof, despite only being 2mm thick. Most of all it is anti-scratch, non slip and is anti-stain.
